The tri-dimensional chess set was first seen in the original Star Trek series of the 1960s. Most famously, Kirk and Spock played games of chess on such a set.

Standing 335 mm in height and 160 mm in width with 32 pieces, the playing area is spread across seven interconnected acrylic boards, mounted on a Zinc alloy base emblazoned with Starship Duty Insignia, Command Division. A rule book is also included.
