In the reimagined Battlestar Galactica the design of the Cylon Basestar was completely reimagined. The new Basestar was an organic spaceship that was as much a being as a vehicle. It was controlled by a hybrid that could perceive things outside normal reality. The new version was designed by Gary Hutzel and Eric Chu, who saw it as more advanced than the human ships. The model measures about 26 cm across.
